Happy Harvest Blessings Card – Stampin’ UP!

HappyHarvest1

Today I have a card to share that I actually made several days ago.  At the time I made it I didn’t have all my ink pads, but luckily I did have some of my Stampin’ Write Markers.  I love the Stampin’ Write Markers, they are so versatile and since they are filled with the same exact ink as is in the ink pads, they are a great way to add to your color collection while sticking to your budget!

For this card I used the Country Home stamp set from Stampin’ UP! which is in the 2018 Holiday Catalog.  I also used the Country Lane Designer Series Paper, also from the Holiday Catalog.  These items are part of the Country Lane Suite that can be found on page 43 of the Holiday Catalog.

For cardstock I chose Crumb Cake, Blackberry Bliss and Whisper White.  I then chose the polka dot pattern from the DSP pack.  I think these colors make the perfect autumn color scheme!

*I also used one more pattern from the pack, which you can see on the finished card

The measurements for the card are as follows:

Card Base – Crumb Cake – 4 1/4 x 11, scored at 5 1/2

Blackberry Bliss – 1 piece at 1 3/4 x 5 1/2 and 1 piece at 3 1/4 x 3 1/4

Whisper White – Focal Image piece at 3 x 3, Inside panel – 4 x 5 1/4

Polka Dot DSP – 1 1/2 x 5 1/2, Green and White DSP – 1 x 5 1/2

I stamped the above image from the Country Home stamp set using Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto the focal image piece.  I then took the sentiment stamp and curved it on my block to achieve the effect above.  I used my Blackberry Bliss Stampin’ Write marker to ink the sentiment.  I love how it turned out!

I used various Stampin’ Write markers to color my image (sorry I forgot to write them down!)  I tried to use autumn colors but I think it did come out a bit too dark.  I used a white gel pen to add some white details to the image.

The rest of the card came together pretty quickly.  I layered the Blackberry Bliss with the DSP pieces and adhered them to the left of the card front.

For the inside of my card I stamped the above sentiment from the Country Home Stamp Set on a panel of Whisper White using the Memento Tuxedo Black ink.

After mounting the focal image to the mat of Black Berry Bliss I wrapped some Braided Linen Trim around the bottom portion and tied a bow.  I wasn’t sure about this trim when I first got it, but I love it now!  It adds just the right “rustic” touch.

To finish the card off I used Dimensionals to adhere the focal image to the front and added Wink of Stella and Stickles Glitter Glue for some sparkle.
