I am a wife, mother and crafter! My family and I live in Michigan, USA, and I’ve been married to my wonderful husband since 2000! We have three children, Maddie, Matthew and Amy, the last two are twins! Rounding out our family are Lexi and Lucas, German Shepherds, and our sassy, anti social cat, Lucy.
I am a stay at home mom, which is the best job ever! Even though my kids are all in school now, I love being here, keeping house and making homemade dinners, desserts, treats, etc., plus just being available for them whenever is needed. I think my husband also appreciates having the laundry kept up and all the other perks of having your wife home! Prior to becoming a full time homemaker I studied Cosmetology, spent two years at college and worked in various public libraries for nearly 25 years. I did a variety of work from film clerk to shelving books to puppet shows and story hours to secretarial tasks. Even though I did enjoy the work (and the paycheck!) I am so happy that I can be at home now, where I feel I truly belong. (yes I’m an old fashioned kind of gal!)
I have been crafting for nearly 20 years now. I started out as a scrapbooker then naturally gravitated to cardmaking and box making. Now I include beading, wire jewelry design, polymer clay and sewing in my growing crafty resume.
